Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Oklahoma City teams are looking for several talented, engaged, highly skilled experienced 4+ years Systems Engineers (Level 3) to join our one of our Bombers or Mobility & Surveillance Engineering teams.  Boeing OKC focuses on providing our customers' fleets with timely, high quality engineered modernization upgrades and modification solutions on a variety platforms such as government executive transports, surveillance and bomber aircraft. Our site offers diverse product opportunities in an enegerized workplace. The candidate will be a member of a dynamic and diverse Systems Engineering team in Oklahoma City. This Level 3 position is located in Oklahoma City.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Significant and independent technical execution in the following areas:
  • System requirements development, decomposition, and allocation
  • System functional analysis
  • Developing and delivering SEIT products such as architecture models/documents, requirements databases, specifications, reports, etc.
  • System verification and validation
  • Support/Lead cross functional team, working groups, program, and customer meetings
  • Collaborating with customer organizations

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 4+ years of engineering experience
  • 3+ years of systems engineering experience
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in functional analysis
  • Experience in risk management
  • Experience in systems architecture development
  • Experience in systems integration
  • Experience in verification, validation, and certification

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In The USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Other Important Information

Shift Type:  Full-Time, First Shift

Ability to Work Remotely:  Employees are expected to work in office primarily full-time. On a case-by-case basis, employees may be able to work remotely part-time. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule: Oklahoma City has a 9/80 work schedule.  Every other Friday is an off day.

Clearance Requirement:  This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Clearance Level:  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Relocation:  This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
