The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is looking for an Associate Procurement Agent to support Commodities and Services in El Segundo, CA

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • More than 1 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
  • More than 1 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
  • More than 1 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • More than 1 years of experience working across multiple programs and locations.
  • More than 1 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements.
  • More than 1 years of experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements that exceed the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold.
  • More than 1 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
  • More than 1 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers.
  • More than 1 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position requires travel up to 10% of the time.
