Human Resources (HR) Information Technology (IT) team is seeking an IT Senior Manager in either states of Washington or Missouri.  This organization supports enterprise-wide Human Resources function in the areas of HR, Payroll, Timekeeping and Learning & Development.

HR IT Workday Senior Manager is an integral member of the HR IT leadership team.   This portfolio comprises of enterprise critical applications supporting human capital management, recruitment, payroll, timekeeping, learning, employee support and employee medical information management.  Systems supported by this portfolio include Workday, ServiceNow, PeopleSoft and other several other SaaS products and internally built applications.

Position Responsibilities:

Senior Manager for this function manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities with specific focus on Workday and partner products that exist in Workday eco-system.  Primary responsibilities include:

  • Provide IT Business Partner support to HR, Payroll, Timekeeping and Learning & Development in Workday eco-system
  • In collaboration with Human Resources function, and Information Technology leadership, formulate capability roadmap & enablement through best of breed Workday and related products
  • Establish product priorities, determine capability and roadmaps
  • Formulate go-forward support strategy as we continue to expand capabilities to Boeing subsidiaries
  • Create and execute on workforce strategy leveraging multiple talent pools (Boeing & implementation partners)
  • Manage development opportunities for employees and be responsible for ongoing growth of leadership and technical skills across the team

This position is a hybrid role with occasion onsite work from the posted locations.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 5 or more years of experience in Workday Implementation strategy and execution in Human Resources function
  • 3 or more Workday implementations experience in a leadership role
  • Workday certifications in Workday modules within Human Resources function (HCM Core, Recruitment, Onboarding, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Talent Management, Integrations, Learning)
  • Strong communication skills, and experience in interacting with executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Agile and Scalable Agile methodologies

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation: 

This position does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
