Product Management Specialist 4, The Boeing Company, Tukwila, WA:

Monitor the industry and competition for changing market trends and gather information to determine new solutions or re-evaluate existing product offerings to ensure Boeing’s Maintenance Performance Toolbox (MPT) reaches the largest possible market and remains competitive. Understand market problems, address market needs, and ensure products conform to industry regulations. Communicate the technical aspects, value, and benefits of MPT to airline customers and their service partners. Train customers with use of the MPT. Provide product demonstration and resolution of customer problems which includes explaining the features and benefits to potential customers and working through contractual issues. Create, review and provide outbound communication informing customers about product improvements, upcoming conferences, and support issues. Support multiple sales campaigns and activities by developing and delivering product and service presentations to promote the value of Boeing offerings. Remain current on market demands and changing industry trends and update customers on technical changes, based on industry demands. Hosts industry customer conferences to promote Boeing offerings. Supports sales support teams to structure contract terms and conditions for intellectual property protections, liability management, and product scope. Acts as an ambassador to existing and potential customers to ensure customer retention and growth.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week,

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience in each of the following: 

  • Building cost/benefit models to determine product return on investment through analyzing aviation market and industry trends;

  • Market analysis of the following aviation business – Commercial, Cargo, Military, General Aviation, and Leasing – to determine size of operations, customer fleet types, and product retention rates;

  • Utilizing aviation document management systems products, including Orlando Tech Pubs, Flat Irons Corena Suite, and Airbus AirNAVx; 

  • Developing aviation product solutions, including bundled offerings, offline/mobile, enhance contractual obligation, and upgrade online buying experience from concept to market utilizing phase gated processes;

  • Developing technical publications for airline maintenance distributed internally and to customers and suppliers; 

  • Utilizing Salesforce to track new revenue, renewal revenue, and sales growth;

  • Utilizing historical sales data, market data and statistics, and business capacity to develop forecast models to predict long range sales projections;

  • Developing businesses plans to grow and develop the product offerings within the maintenance operations space; and 

  • Utilizing software methodologies including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile, and Waterfall.
