Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Boring Machine Operator? located in Portland, OR!

Position Responsibilities:

Completely and independently set up, operate, adjust, etc., assigned boring machines (such as Lucas, DeVlieg, or "G & L" types) to rough out and finish machine to quality requirements and specifications any assigned boring requiring the coordination of hole tolerances in more than two planes and surfaces.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience setting up and operating Manual and CNC machines

• Experience as a machine operator, writing and editing CNC programs

• Experience with interpreting intricate test setup drawings

• Experience with set-up and operating conventional and/or numerically controlled parts cutting equipment with axis controls to fabricate close tolerance parts

• Experience with Conventional and Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• High School graduate or GED preferred

Typical Education:

High school graduate or GED preferred.

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This position is for 2nd shift.
