Boeing is looking for a Customer Training Specialist for our Bangor, WA facility.  Conducts analyses to evaluate customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives and design. Oversees activities the development, delivery and evaluation of technical training. Establishes processes for identifying training content and evaluating training effectiveness. Uses specialized software technology to research, configure, maintain, update and develop new and existing media and materials. Gathers data to support complete proposal development activities. Ensures accuracy and quality of training products.  Ability to work with team & create and update technical writing documentation and procedures.  Coaches and develops others. 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Train a team how to use complex computer systems in an easy to understand way

  • Assess competency of students to verify knowledge of material

  • Create & update Technical documentation on complex systems

  • Adapt to a dynamic work environment

  • Be able to lift 30 pounds of equipment  

Security Clearance:  This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.  A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active. Willingness to undergo a CI polygraph is required for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): 

  • Experience in training a technical team in a DoD environment

  • Experience working in a field operations environment

  • Experience creating, reviewing, editing, and updating technical documentation to include manuals, curricula, operations plans, training reports, and surveys

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

  • Experience performing systems administration tasks to include installation and configuration of servers

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

  • Experience in a role requiring working in training and/or field operations (project/program management).

  • 4+ years’ experience with Instructing practices and processes.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 14 years' related work experience)

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.
