AT&T Global Public Sector is supporting the U.S. Air Force Network As A Service (NaaS) Risk Reduction Effort (RRE) to support their mission going forward.  AT&T is designing, developing, and delivering a robust Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Multi-Site solution. 



AT&T has an opening for Security Engineer to support the DoD Government, in providing Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) services.



The Security Engineer will work closely with the Lead CSfC Design Engineer, Lab Test Engineers, Integration Engineers, and other supporting groups involving system concept formulation, requirements development, IT system architecture design, system design analysis, and systems integration design and implementation.



This position requires expert technical background in the Security and IT networking industry hands-on experience with aspects of PKI, Certificate Authority, FIPS 140-2, Hardware Security Modules, and STIG’s.  Knowledge of Security and Network design, implementation, and troubleshooting are essential.



Job Duties/Responsibilities:    




            
  • Analyze security systems and seeks to make improvements on a continual basis

  •         
  • Research weaknesses and find ways to counter them

  •         
  • Understand software, hardware and network design needs, make security centric recommendations according to our business environment

  •         
  • Provide security guidance according to NSA’s CSfC design requirements

  •         
  • Test and configure company software, firmware and firewalls

  •         
  • Assist fellow employees with security, software, hardware, or IT needs



Experience




            
  • Excellent ability for clear and concise oral and written communication; capability to interface at multiple levels and successfully present technical information

  •         
  • Extensive experience with enterprise network design and sustainment, to include routing, switching, and VPN solutions.

  •         
  • Experience working within the parameters detailed via DISA STIGs.

  •         
  • Knowledge and experience with PKI and Certificate Authority systems

  •         
  • Strict attention to detail; Adherence to rigid guidelines and processes; Ability to validate, update and maintain accurate records.

  •         
  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment as well as independently.



Required Clearance:     Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain Top Secret Clearance    (#topsecret)



Required Qualifications:



Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related technical discipline or advanced equivalent experience



Qualifications




            
  • Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH, CISM, CCNA, CCNP/Security, Security +, desired

  •         
  • Expert hands-on working experience with as many of the following as possible: Cisco & Juniper routers, RedHat platforms, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls.

  •         
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and associated routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, etc.

  •         
  • Knowledge of VPN solutions to include Site-to-Site, Multi-site, and client-based VPNs

  •         
  • Knowledge also includes PKI certificate-based VPN solutions (IPsec / MACsec)

  •         
  • Knowledge with Certificates Authorities (CA) to include Microsoft and RedHat Server Certificate Services deployments

  •         
  • Strong knowledge of DISA STIG guidance and experience implementing DISA STIGs to secure network devices

  •         
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize projects

  •         
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  •         
  • An understanding of best practices and how to implement them at a business-wide level

  •         
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise

  •         
  • Basic coding skills, such as Python, Perl, Linux, and other languages
