AT&T is a prime contractor on the SITE III IDIQ program for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA).  AT&T won the SITE III IDIQ in 2021 and anticipates award of a large enterprise IT WAN Task Order in 1st quarter FY 2022.  For the DIA Chief Information Office (CIO), the Task Order provides IT managed services for the DIA’s TS/SCI network modernization program focused on specific technologies and hardware needed to operate the wide area network, or highway, that enables TS/SCI communications.



AT&T has an opening for an onsite Senior Network Engineer on the assigned Task Order applying engineering and architectural expertise against work projects to perform in-depth and complex network troubleshooting and engineering involving all aspects of the TS/SCI WAN network. 



Job Duties/Responsibilities:   As the Senior Network Engineer, you will have responsibility for successfully completing all tasks in assigned program areas.




            
  • Responsible for including core, distribution edge, and border routing.

  •         
  • Report, isolate, investigate, and resolve network outages involving complex root-cause scenario investigation techniques.

  •         
  • Interact with and report architecture problems with lead engineers.

  •         
  • Determine future bandwidth needs, conduct redundancy planning, and adopt infrastructure configurations according to vendor and industry best practices and standards.

  •         
  • Provide support for implementing routing and switching protocols.

  •         
  • Provide day-to-day communication/network security operation and maintenance of multiple secure network infrastructures.

  •         
  • Design, develop, build, and test network engineering solutions as part of a team that introduces new technologies and/or improves existing technologies in compliance with established project management processes.

  •         
  • Lead major project initiatives and develop configurations using expertise in routing protocols, firewalls, datacenter protocols, security requirements and network virtualization.

  •         
  • Troubleshoot, develop, and design network architectures consisting of multilevel access and multilevel security platforms supporting both CONUS and OCONUS sites.

  •         
  • Configure, install, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, VOIP systems, video teleconferencing, and various other network and telecommunication components.

  •         
  • Analyze and determine corrective action for secure data communications networks.



Required Clearance:     TSSCI with poly (#polygraph)    (#ts/sci)



Required Qualifications:




            
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position and minimum of 5 years relevant experience performing in roles of COMSEC Account Manager or custodian.

  •         
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and CCIE Service Provider.

  •         
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance in JPAS with CI Polygraph.Proficient on SolarWinds NPM, IPAM, NCM, UDT, NTA, and Network Topology Mapper.

  •         
  • Expertise in routing protocols, TCP/IP protocols, security requirements and network communications.

  •         
  • Managed large-scale projects through proven project management/design practices.

  •         
  • Experience with network monitoring and reporting tools and technology.

  •         
  • Extensive experience with planning, designing, and executing network hardware and software infrastructure.

  •         
  • Expertise in firewall and IPS security products as well as use of SDN technologies to automate network provisioning and increase redundancy and improve resiliency.

  •         
  • Ability to apply architectural knowledge to network diagrams, wiring, and cyber infrastructure documentation, processes, and procedures and suggesting improvements.



Desired Qualifications:




            
  • The ideal candidate has a technical background and previous enterprise-level WAN experience considered to be expert and an authority in discipline supporting a government agency CIO.

  •         
  • Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR and JWICS Networks at DIA, DISA, IC partners or Combatant Command locations.

  •         
  • JNCIS-DevOps Certification.

  •         
  • Well-versed in isolating and performing root-cause analysis to determine infrastructure design improvements and enhancements, software bugs and implementing necessary workarounds.
