AT&T has an opening for an Autocad Specialist to support the Provisioning Team in producing documentation for IT/Telecommunication network upgrades and new installations.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

        
• Use autoCAD drafting software to produce documentation for network upgrades and installations.

        
• Collaborate with managers, design architects, and engineers.

        
• Design implementations that adhere to established standards and codes.

        
• Participate in the evolution and improvement of standards to meet changes in technology.

        
• Serve as a technical resource for others throughout the team, providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise.

        
• Conduct surveys of network infrastructure to complete design packages for installations.

        
• Work to be performed in Culpeper, VA.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications: Candidate must have a total of 10 years of applicable experience. The experience can be a combination of degree and work history. This can be a High School degree and 10 years of work history OR an Associate’s and 8 years, a Bachelors’ and 6 years, a Master’s and 4 years or a PhD and 2 years of work history.

        
• BICSI and autoCAD certifications.

        
• Thorough knowledge of telecommunications cabling and infrastructure design and implementation.

        
• Knowledge of industry standards including BICSI TDMM Manual and TIA/EIA.

        
• Experience with MS Excel and MS Visio.

        
• Ability to understand and decipher network diagrams, build-to, and run lists.

Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of architectural construction documents/blueprints.
