AT&T has an opening for Core Network Engineer to support the customer’s various WAN networks, in providing on call Tier III support for Wide Area Networking, Network Timing and Load Balancing.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:  

AT&T has a Core Network Engineer opening responsible for design, engineering, testing, evaluation, and performance analysis for an MPLS WAN network. 

Required Clearance:  Top Secret with the ability to obtain and maintain an SCI with polygraph. (#topsecret) (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications:  Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 8 years of experience OR Masters and 10 years, Bachelors and 12 years, Associates and 14 years or HS and 16 years.  

        
• Must have Security+ or CISSP certification.

        
• Juniper network certification: JCNIA.  

        
• Protocols: OSPF, BGP, and MPLS-VPN. Hands-on Juniper router engineering and/or operation background.   

Desired Qualifications:  Juniper network certification: JCNIP and/or JCNIE.  Riverbed or SolarWinds networking performance or operation analysis background.
