Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a Firmware Developer to join their team. Job Description: We are looking for hardworking, dedicated systems professionals to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting our current and future customers. Our team is responsible for creating FPGA-based solutions to complex, real-time, data processing problems that involve the entire system development cycle from requirements definition all the way through implementation and fielding of capabilities. Duties include the creation of new components as well as the support/modification of existing capabilities. The ability to effectively work independently as well as a member of larger teams is critical for success in this job Required Skills: Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph FPGA/Xilinx and the associated development tools VHDL/Verilog MATLAB/Octave DSP C++ Python Linux development Ability to effectively communicate ideas and theories via white papers and technical design meetings Desired Skills: In addition to the required skill list above, the ideal candidate will have some level of familiarity with the following: Basic Linux System Administration RPMs, and YUM GIT/GitLab Agile development processes Continuous integration tool support - GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins Shell scripting (Bash, but any scripting experience will suffice) PCIe, Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, etc…) Strong math skills Required Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
