Our National Security Team supports the intelligence community by providing, operating and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations.



AT&T has an opening for Logistics Manager I to support the National Security Sector, in providing mission critical DoD communications infrastructure upgrade and helping shape policies and helping to shape policy and improve property management processes across the program.  



Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:   




            
  • Proficient with the principles of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Government Property Management processes to include procurement, identification, utilization, records, movement, physical inventory, and reporting. 

  •         
  • Lead with coordinating property management support activities related to procurement and maintenance of hardware, systems, and components.

  •         
  • Works independently and oversees program IT software from the inception to the phase-out to include maintaining a software spend plan as well as working with stakeholders to ensure software is adequately controlled.

  •         
  • Responsible for managing procurement of program software, ensuring program personnel receive software required to perform their job while coordinating and gaining government approval.

  •         
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (such as engineering, finance, and installation) and product vendors to build comprehensive reports for customer.

  •         
  • Must have knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD) plans, policies, standards, and methods in overseeing Information Technology property (hardware and software)

  •         
  • Must be capable of assessing recommendations, developing solutions, and assisting with internal assessments and working with senior property managers during property management reviews.

  •         
  • Interfaces with customer and other designated government agencies.

  •         
  • Attends program reviews, technical meetings, Integrated Product Team meetings and briefings as required.

  •         
  • Proficient in managing and maintaining government property database with oversight of location, records, and storage of property.

  •         
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required in daily operations.

  •         
  • Property officer for a complex, multi-year, mission critical DoD program.

  •         
  • Some travel may be required.    



Required Clearance:  TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)



Required Qualifications:  Candidate must have 5 years of relevant work experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 0 years of experience OR Masters and 0 years, Bachelors and 1 years, Associates and 3 years, or HS and 5 years.  Experience shall include:   Must be familiar with the principles of purchasing, handling, control, and transportation of government and corporate assets. Works independently.



Desired Qualifications:  




            
  • Develops, upgrades, and improves systems for tracking and reporting, material handling procedures and scheduling. Directs and supervises subcontractor analysts or logisticians.  

  •         
  • Develops and implements standard procedures to ensure testing, documentation, updates, quality control, and configuration management requirements are considered in the development of the equipment system.
