AT&T has an opening for a Systems Administrator Level 3 Lead to support AT&T’s Defense and National Security sector in managing Windows (and some Linux) systems and overseeing system administration teams and projects for two government programs.



                        

Job Duties/Responsibilities:



                        

                                    
  • Manage small team of geographically separated systems administrators for two separate programs

  •                                 
  • Manage new and current projects from start to completion

  •                                 
  • Manage current server/desktop deployments; plan next-generation upgrades and replacements

  •                                 
  • Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of Enterprise IT systems

  •                                 
  • Manage security patching & OS upgrades of Windows server/desktop enterprise and some Linux servers

  •                                 
  • Manage monitoring and problem resolution for workstation and server systems

  •                                 
  • Manage incident and problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution using ticketing systems

  •                                 
  • Manage escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers/teams

  •

Required Qualifications:



                        

                                    
  • Self-starter with 10+ years’ experience with managing systems and networks effectively & efficiently

  •                                 
  • Must have or obtain current Security+ (DoD 8570 compliance) certification within six months of hire

  •                                 
  • Knowledge in Windows 2012-2019 Server Standard; install, harden, configure, administer & troubleshoot

  •                                 
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Hyper-V; install, configure, administer, convert & troubleshoot

  •                                 
  • Knowledge in Active Directory GPO; administer and troubleshoot

  •                                 
  • Knowledge in Distributed File System (DFS) and traditional file servers; administer and troubleshoot

  •                                 
  • Knowledge in DNS, DHCP, MS SQL 2014-2019 administration, and Exchange 2013-2019; administer

  •                                 
  • Knowledge in DISA STIG Hardening for servers, W10 desktops, and 3rd party applications; administer

  •                                 
  • Knowledge in Windows 10 Enterprise; image, deploy, administer & troubleshoot

  •                                 
  • Knowledge in industry standard security patch management best practices; administer and troubleshoot

  •                                 
  • Knowledge in RedHat Linux Server; administer and troubleshoot

  •                                 
  • Familiarity with RSA SecureID Soft tokens, RADIUS and TACACS+, and MS SharePoint Farm Administration

  •                         


                        

Desired Qualifications:



                        

                                    
  • Knowledge in McAfee EPO, Solarwinds NPM and NCM, and Tenable Nessus

  •                                 
  • Support design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware

  •                                 
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate-Server (MCSA-Serv) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert-Server (MCSE-Serv) or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP); Computer Technology Industry Association - Network + (Network +); Computer Technology Industry Association - Storage + (Storage +)
