The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Special Processes Heat Treat Operator for its 2nd shift operations (M-F, 4 pm to 12:30 am). This site employs 158.

Heat Treat Operator performs heat treat operations on a variety of components utilizing various furnace types. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Performs some maintenance and preventative maintenance, installation, and calibration of furnace equipment and controls. 
• Requires knowledge of heat-treating processes, properties, and structure of metals.
• Preventive maintenance.
• Calibration.
• Loading and unloading of furnaces.
• Monitoring of furnaces.
• Paperwork.
• Inventory.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school degree or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical trade school / certifications preferred
• Related experience preferred

Tools/Equipment Used: 

• Vacuum furnaces
• Atmospheric furnaces
• Forklifts
• Cranes
• Calibration equipment
• Calculator
• Required PPE
