Job Summary

This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Our program seeks to help you: develop an understanding of the aerospace industry; learn about our company and its operations; and appreciate how each discipline and department contributes to the success of our products and customer partnerships.

While you benefit from on-the-job training and practical experience, you are expected to contribute fresh ideas and participate as a productive member of the department.

This internship will be working in our RTX Corporate Supply Chain organization.   This role will support cross-functional teams covering multiple business units in aspects of RTX Corporate Operations and Supply Chain.  The RTX Corporate Supply Chain organization supports product and non-product sourcing, supply chain risk, performance, analytics and tools as well as other strategic initiatives. The cross-functional team is comprised of key individuals within each RTX Business unit and this role will work in a matrixed organization.  Supply Chain Category reviews include, operational and spend analysis, development and execution of sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management & operational support. 

Measure of success include synergy and cost-savings initiatives, standard work development and improvements and leadership and support of strategic initiatives.

Intern Start:  May/June 2022
 

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Pursuing a bachelor or master’s degree majoring in Engineering, supply chain, quality, operations or closely related field
• 30+ credits prior to starting the internship
• US citizenship is required as is eligibility to obtain a secret clearance if necessary
