  • Overview:

In this role the Lead Engineer (Power and Controls - Systems) will actively participate in complete Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle: Requirements, Design, Development, System Integration and Qualification Tested to Requirements.

Position: Lead Engineer (P2)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strong Academic background with knowledge of Aerospace Electrical Systems 
  • Understanding of Complete System Engineering Product Development Cycle
  • Understanding of electrical/electronic concepts is desirable.
  • Hands on experience in DOORS
  • Update System Level Requirement Documents based on Customer ICD and Specifications.
  • Prepare, review, and execute test documents (test plan, test report and compliance matrix)
  • Play the role of System Integrator with different functional teams within Electrical Power Generation and Distribution System.
  • Supports implementation of the principles of continuous improvement (Six Sigma in day-to-day projects).
  • Strong in analytical thinking. 
  • Able to take the ownership and handle the project with minimum dependency
  • Able to communicate with cross function team, SBU and exhibit the go-getter type of attitude

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 to 6 years of Industry experience
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace domain
  • System Integration Test
  • System Design
  • Understanding of Avionics Communication protocols such as ARINC 429, 629, AFDX, CAN, Ethernet and Serial communication protocols.
  • Working Experience in configuration control tools like synergy or SVN
  • Knowledge of standards/processes such as ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-178B and DO-330
  • Experience on Agile Methodology is desirable.
  • Good to have programming exposure
  • Knowledge of aircraft sub system, aircraft Protocols and interface definition
