Experienced General Finance Management professional, who implements financial plans, analyzes financial processes and standards, and establishes financial indicators to forecast performance measures. Develops relationships with external financial consultants and advisors, and provides technical advice to functional managers on financial matters. Develops, directs, plans and analyzes financial standing, programs and procedures. Responsible for proper documentation of financial standing for audit and regulatory purposes. Coordinates account and payroll functions. Makes company plans and recommendations based on financial data. Manages major responsibilities across multiple finance disciplines on a regular basis. Performs finance activities that cannot be attributed to a defined discipline. Includes CFOs. May also include professional employees required to perform activities across several disciplines at smaller sites.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Roles crosses FP&A and Accounting with focus on Operations Finance
  • Develops, recommends, and implements processes or standards to support the business plans of the organization.
  • Analyzes the organization's revenues, liabilities, assets, and other financial indicators to forecast it's short, medium, and long[1]term performance.
  • Develops relationships with external consultants and advisors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Provides technical advice on financial issues to functional or operational area managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
  • Point-of-Contact for Sarbanes-Oxley systems controls and reporting, including identification of gaps and driving execution for corrective action efforts
  • Provides ongoing support of Engineering Reporting process in collaboration with FP&A and Program Management
  • Participation in monthly general ledger close acting as control point for review of Journal Entries and other reporting items
  • Drives Operations Finance Efforts including monthly/quarterly reviews and interim reporting and execution efforts
  • Business Lead on Cost reduction efforts in collaboration with Operations and Program Management
  • Balance sheet reconciliation preparation and analysis
  • JDE / SAP Experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JDE / SAP and HFM
  • Finance experience within manufacturing
  • Project management
  • Preference is to hire someone in the Everett, WA area, but may be open to remote option for the ideal candidate

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $68,000 - $140,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
