Raytheon Technologies Corporate Headquarters is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Enterprise Application Services team as Application Factory Liaison and Data Management Lead.  The Application Factory initiative is an Optimus-funded, application transformation program to orchestrate, design, plan and deliver on application retirements, migrations & cloud transformations in support of both achieving merger synergies & building a simpler, more future-ready application portfolio.

Central to the execution of the Application Factory program is the onboarding and oversight of an Application Managed Service (AMS) partner who will directly help RTX deliver this application transformation at scale.  This role will be the key liaison between the functional application teams and the AMS partner.  The role will also provide direct oversight of the provider resources and ensuring success of each pod.

This position will require a strong understanding of technologies, processes and data across the application lifecycle. The chosen candidate will fundamentally change how a 400+ employee organization works, transforming our application delivery for years to come, while directly driving a large part of our $34M application synergy goal.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Oversight of AMS service provider resources and ensuring success of each pod

•Facilitate and foster relationships with application teams across Digital Technology, functional and business teams

•Manage the tracking and reporting of each candidate application throughout the application lifecycle

•Primary point of contact for application team questions, support, and escalations

•Define / iterate a reusable data migration / conversion framework & tooling

•Collaborate with Application Profiling data lead to collect, analyze and evaluate required data elements and attributes per application required to enable each factory

•Lead and participate in planning meetings and provide guidance and expertise in support of strategic company initiatives

•Identify and communicate risks and issues and provide recommendations on potential mitigations and solutions

Experience/Qualifications:

•8+ years of data analysis/governance or other relevant experience

•Strong relationship management skills with the ability to initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships while managing expectations

•Experience with ETL, Data Migration, EDI or similar integration patterns

•Experience working directly with designers, developers and QA leads to build, design and iterate on digital products and services

•Understanding of full software development lifecycle, deployment and architecture

•Strong quality, time and scope management within IT realm

•Familiarity with system deployments on internal infrastructure and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS

•Good understanding of IAM principles, IT security needs and DevOps and CI/CD automation platforms and technologies

•Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that are relatable to all levels

•Superb planning and organizational skills

•Adaptability and multi-tasking; experience working in a fast-moving environment

•Diligent, disciplined, reliable and strives for highest quality work product

•Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like Qlik or Tableau preferred

•Proficient in SQL tools and constructs

Education:

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
