Pratt & Whitney (P&W) is seeking an Account Specialist - Raw Material (P3) to work onsite at our North Berwick, Maine campus. The Fan Module Center contains a group of five Value Streams that manage approximately 1,500 part numbers for P&W Engine Centers and Spares. This position is within the Raw Materials Value Stream.

Key Responsibilities:

Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

•Quote, cost analysis/price justification, and placement of schedule agreements, in addition to providing updates to various customers.

•Work with cross functional team (materials, operations, quality, engineering) to ensure all customer requirements are met.

•Handle all aspects of the supplier relationships, including delivery and quality performance, cost and inventory management, and customer happiness.

•Lead purchase order execution and product delivery, including placement of on-time schedule agreements, billing adjustments / terminations mitigation and cost reduction goals execution.

•Comply with the P&W Procurement Manual and Global Supply Chain Standard.

•Improve and reduce quality-related turnbacks through weekly turnback meetings.

•Attend and support meetings to resolve quality issues.

•Champion active daily use of the ACE operating system through ACE tool usage to improve Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S), quality, delivery, financial, employee engagement, and customer happiness.

•Actively drive Supplier Gold by participating in supplier improvement activities, supplier program reviews and assisting Supplier Gold Specialists.

Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree is required in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or equivalent experience and 5+ years’ experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering or Business OR

•Advanced Degree in related field and 3+ years’ experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering or Business.

•This is an onsite position working at our North Berwick, Maine campus.

•US Citizenship required due to government contract.

•Up to 20% travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Craft clear communication and the ability to build positive relationships.

•Excellent Project Management Skills.

•Experience working with teams to include Sr. Management.

•Purchasing or materials experience.

•Excellent judgment and professional maturity.

•Ability to balance challenging priorities and manage time effectively.

•Experienced with MS Office programs: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word as well as SAP ERP.

Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have deep knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree

in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
