Technician (CNC Machinist)

Turbine Overhaul Services

Responsibilities

  • Perform CNC machining operations to repair aircraft engine components and meet quality standards

  • (Grinding, Milling, EDM, etc.)

  • Perform total productive maintenance (TPM) on machines

  • Perform programming and troubleshooting as required by engineer 

  • Opportunity to perform advanced technology machines operations

  • (Laser Cladding, Laser Drilling, Adaptive Milling, Robotic Plasma Coating, etc.)

  • Participate in safety and continuous improvement programs, CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities and additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in related fields.

  • Min 2 years of relevant machining experience and perform basic programming language.

  • A curious and learning mind-set with keen interests to learning new technology.

  • Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).

  • Team player with a positive attitude.

  • Basic oral and written English language skill.

  • Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.

  • Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience is a plus.
