Job Responsibilities: 

 

•Estimates project costs and schedules and participates in preparation of proposals and presentations. 

•Establish new approaches and techniques to achieve continuous improvement in all engineering economic disciplines. 

•Exhibits a growing knowledge of industry-wide engineering economic practices (CAIV, target costing, etc.). 

•Responsible for technical problem definition and solution in the manufacturing environment. Responsible for acting as liaison with design engineering on incorporating changes to the designs which improve manufacturability. 

•Develop tools that enable manufacturing, aid process improvement or address safety concerns. Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices. 

•Leads cross-functional studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control through the application of Lean principles. 

•Determines the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow, and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. 

•Prepares cost estimates for proposed projects and evaluates cost factors. 

•Plans and designs facilities and layout for manufacturing processes and equipment, taking into account economic factors, process flow, operator efficiency and comfort. 

•Develops solutions to a variety of IE problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. 

•Reviews product designs for producibility, providing technical input to correct design deficiencies in producibility. 

•Responsible for developing new assembly processes and making major improvements to existing processes. Includes analyzing and selecting large assembly machines. 

•Conduct research studies on new processes, methods and equipment, and make recommendations for acquisitions. 

•Performs assignments requiring the use and application of moderate to advanced engineering economics principles and techniques.



 

Basic Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering or any other related field (electronics, mechatronics or mechanical). 

• English 90% 

• Minimum 3 years of experience. 

• Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD 

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office 

• Reading of engineering drawings 

• Lean Knowledge   

• Visa required 

• May Have Packaging processes: (ATA-300, ASTM-D3951, IATA DGR / CFR 49 Transportation)
