You’ll be working as a team of specialist developers, testers and analysts to design, develop and maintain critical cyber applications and systems to support government, law enforcement and commercial customers contributing to the development of solutions using the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply test skills and experience within the context of an Agile software delivery team
  • Define and manage test environments; create and manage test data; define and manage test tools;
  • Create and manage automation scripts/suites and functional and non-functional tests
  • Create test charters/scripts for manual testing
  • Contribute to the production of test documents using appropriate tools as required
  • Raise defects and support the wider development team in their resolution

    Essential Skills
  • Understanding of Agile development and demonstrable application of relevant test methodologies and toolsets
  • Test script of development
  • Experience of automated test tools
  • Experience of non-functional testing
  • Experience of exploratory testing

    Desirable Skills
  • Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model
  • Experience of TDD/BDD
  • Ability to review and apply different tools and techniques e.g. monitoring and logging

    Behaviour Skills
  • Good interpersonal skills for customer and partner liaison
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • An inquisitive mind and a desire to promote innovation
