Summary of Role

Responsible for the support and administration of the SharePoint 2019 application on-premises environment (Rshare External)

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of the “SharePoint Subject Matter Expert” include but are not limited to:

• Level 3 Support Engineer for the SharePoint 2019 on-premises application.
• Responsible for the daily management of SharePoint 2019 farm, including architecture and periodic software updates.
• Responsible for all new Rshare External SharePoint customers site build requests, per documented process.

• Responsible for proposing and implementing SharePoint customizations, no-code SharePoint solutions, and enhancements to improve support and sustainment activities. 
  • Responsible for creation and modification of Knowledge Based Articles
  • Responsible for testing new functionality.
• Required to performing all tasks without disrupting Raytheon-specific customizations to out-of-the-box SharePoint 2019 which are required for compliance with export tracking requirements, security mandated external access controls, etc.

Education & Experience:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 5 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 3 years experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in and maintaining a SharePoint 2019 on premises production environment
• Experience in resolving issues including interfacing with end users and a help desk ticketing tool
• Experience in writing technical documentation include Software Installation Plans, Knowledge Articles, etc.
