Primary Responsibilities:

Candidate will be leading “hands on” projects as well as coaching others and developing standards. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

1. Work with cell/site/value stream leaders to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives to achieve business results using best practice Process Management tools ( SIPOC, Control Tower, Impact/Maturity analysis, MFA, Process Analysis, etc ).

2. Establish appropriate improvement strategies based on the nature of opportunities. ( Lead time reduction = VSM/Lean, Quality improvement = Process Analysis/ProCert, Major process change = 3P, etc.)

3. Partnering with site leaders to drive CORE initiatives and transformation activities while improving overall KPIs and performance.

4. Coach, Facilitate or Lead advanced improvement events including: Value Stream Mapping of complex value streams, Mixed Model and Shared Resource Cell Design applications, Operations Analysis / Lean Cell Design.

5. Coach individuals in key roles to develop CORE proficiency by leveraging formal training, improvement events, and mentoring. Manage portfolio of certified event leads to gain organizational self sufficiency

6. Manage the execution of periodic formal assessments to gain and sustain 5.0 CORE certification.

7. Implementation of a successful tracking and monitoring system for sustainment and progress towards 5.0 level CORE certification, KPI performance, etc. consolidating performance metrics, projects, and continuous improvement activities.

8. Driving KPI improvements including quality, delivery - lead time reduction, schedule stabilization, inventory turn improvement, and a "Plan For Every Part."

9. Enhancing the program to world class levels through innovation and benchmarking, driving business unit and site self-sufficiency.

10. Create, standardize, and automate processes related to managing the CORE operating system.

11. Manage events in the CORE Certification Portal to enable success of individual event, document proficiency of event participants, and communicate both results and methods used to achieve them for others to leverage.

12. Complete capacity analysis of key areas and processes.

13. Drive 5S projects on the shop floor.

14. Understanding of SIOP is a plus.

Basic Qualificaions:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
