Primary Responsibilities:

  • Check goods against shipping documents and authorizations.
  • Pack goods for shipment according to specifications, equipment characteristics, transportation methods and routes.
  • Verify identification and quality of product.
  • Prepares bills of lading.
  • Posts weight and shipping charges.
  • Stamps, stencils or attaches information and shipping instructions on containers.
  • Loads shipments onto carrier.
  • Receive and unpacks goods.
  • Check incoming goods against bills of lading, packaging slips, etc.
  • Maintains records of goods received
  • Maintains necessary files and documentations.
  • Rejects damaged, excess or misdirected goods.

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must have proficiency using computers; experience with Data Works, UPS and FedEx a plus.
  • Able to work extended hours as required.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position
