Position Overview:
Raytheon Technologies is searching for a Senior Cyber Product Sales Manager to drive the sales of our cyber resiliency solutions across a diverse customer base. The ideal candidate will have significant sales experience with selling commercial products to the DoD and other federal government agencies as well as a technical background in engineering and cyber security. The Sales Manager must possess the ability to work with prospective customers on a daily basis to generate sales revenues, provide account management, accurately forecast business, and execute a strategic plan to sell to target customers within DoD, Fed-Civ, and commercial critical infrastructure markets. The Cyber Product Sales Manager will conduct meetings, technology demonstrations and other engagements with customers, and determine how to position the company products to meet customer needs. The Cyber Product Sales Manager will provide support to, and coordinate with, the Business Development team on revenue opportunities. The Sales Manager must have a thorough understanding of the sales process, acquisition, and decision-making processes within the assigned accounts. The Sales Manger will maintain awareness of competitive offerings, and make recommendations based on the competitive landscape. Additionally, the Sales Manager will act as a liaison between customers and internal product management/ engineering teams to ensure customer success and satisfaction. The successful candidates will possess a strong professional network within assigned accounts, and have a passion for both customer and business success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate sales leads within target markets
  • Establish and expand relationships with channel partners and resellers
  • Prepare reports and forecasts
  • Coordinate and host sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Participate in internal meetings to coordinate sales efforts across the business
  • Call on potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
  • Provide customer feedback to inform the product development on go to market strategies
  • Conduct market research and make recommendations for product pricing
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 10+ years of applicable sales experience
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas for cyber products or similar offerings within DoD, Fed-Civ, commercial critical infrastructure markets
  • Experience positioning highly technical products to both technical and non-technical acquisition decision makers
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
  • Experience communicating customer needs to product management, engineering teams
  • Ability to connect highly technical and creative engineers and solutions with technical decision makers/buyers/user and their needs
  • Experience developing a pipeline of new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

LOCATIONS: This position can be based in Austin, TX; Huntsville, AL; Greenville, SC or remote with travel as required

Desired Qualifications:
  • Current SECRET or Top Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for SCI
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related technical field
