Job Description

This is a second shift position, 2:00pm – 10:30pm, Mon-Fri.  The selected candidate will initially train for a three-month period on first shift, 7:30am – 4:00pm, Mon-Fri, overtime will be required.

The Materials Associate is responsible for the safe and proper setup of energetic and inert products received from production for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in a fast-paced environment. The Materials Associate will be responsible for the accurate labeling and setup of various part configurations in accordance with all applicable requirements and specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Setup of various parts for NDT in accordance too applicable requirements and specifications.
  • Follow written procedures, specifications and guidelines with attention to detail.
  • Utilization of the appropriate tooling in accordance to written procedures.
  • Produce appropriate identification, DODIC/Lot labels/Serial Number Labels.
  • Accurate placement of labels as directed and trained.
  • Proper identification of completed setups ready for transportation.            
  • Production of the appropriate documents and distribution of documents once ready for transportation.
  • Properly receive and document upon the return of the finished orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work cell, following 5S principals.
  • Able to work overtime as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with less than 2 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must pass new hire and process training

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Attention to detail, strong sense of organization.
  • SAP experience preferred
