With the growing customer demand for the Next Generation Power Family (NGPF) of engines, Pratt & Whitney Auto Air is expanding its team of quality professionals in direct support of facility expansion. This job posting is for Quality Review Coordinator that will follow customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies to ensure the production of compliant products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Controls NCM and performs certain QR review and disposition activities including, but not limited to, Rework, RTV and Scrap.
  • Reviews and documents previous history, including part characteristic yield information when required by procedure or determining disposition recommendation.
  • Determines level, extent, and method of segregation/control for NCM.
  • Support PW Material Review Board Process.
  • Overseeing return of nonconforming material to operations.
  • Investigate nonconforming material to determine root cause, identify corrective actions and track effectiveness, lead TRIAGE process
  • Review of engineering documentation to ensure it contains the necessary quality assurance and customer provisions and criteria.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities. Monitor and track non-conformance trends
  • Participate on cross-functional team projects to improve the overall organization and to develop a career path and leadership, with coaching and assistance by the Quality Manager.
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3+ years work experience in quality/process operations, manufacturing/logistics, auditing or engineering.
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PW QMRB certification is preferred but not required
  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Proficient with PC programs, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and Excel).
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, ISO and FAR 145. Knowledge of Document Control and Calibration systems.
  • Proficiency in SAP Quality Notification module
