Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is the test and characterization of custom Mixed Signal ROICs. A strong background in test & characterization is essential. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines, the ability to develop briefings, white papers, and analysis to support the business needs. The candidate must be a self-motivated, self-directed individual, and possess closure-oriented skills with a demonstrated ability to work on a variety of technical problems, both individually and as a member of a team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
  • Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations

Experience in any two or more of following areas is required:

  • Probe station experience in a production environment
  • Labview programming proficiency
  • Electronic circuit-level design/debugging skills
  • Experience with NI PXI systems
  • FPGA programming with Quartus development environment experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Camera/Video system interfaces such as MIPI, USB, parallel, I2C, SERDES etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, plus 3 or more years of experience in testing electro-optical devices (infrared experience desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in commercial product development including LIDAR, APD, medical devices, and/or cameras/systems will be considered as a plus.
  • US citizenship is required.
  • The position does not require a security clearance but the ability to obtain one is desirable.
