Job Summary

We are hiring for an Engineering Tools Program Manager in Winston Salem NC. This candidate works independently, supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for PLM and Digital Thread projects in support of the Interiors overall Digital Product Lifecycle (DPLC) vision. Responsibilities include facilitating project tasks with various functional organizations; project forecasting, tracking progress, identifying opportunities and risks, recommending solutions and escalating project problems.


Primary Responsibilities

  •  Effectively lead the planning and implementation of PLM technology projects in support of developing a Digital Thread and Authoritative Source of Truth to enable the organization to succeed and meet the strategic objective of a model based DPLC.
  • Possess an understanding of enterprise processes for an Aerospace engineering and manufacturing company and be able to define and develop processes to fill gaps as well as identify technologies to support those processes.
  • This position focuses on managing multiple PLM and Digital Engineering (Digital Thread, Digital Twin) technology projects, which may include implementation of third party solutions, application development and infrastructure optimization solutions.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 5+ years of Digital Engineering experience OR
  • Advanced degree from an accredited university and 3+ years of Digital Engineering experience OR
  • In the absence of a degree, 9+ years of Digital Engineering experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an aerospace, commercial, and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with multiple project methodologies including waterfall and agile
  • Knowledge or certification in the Agile Scrum methodology
  • Knowledge of Global Trade Regulations
  • Experience in managing tools rationalization and consolidation projects such as MCAD rationalization
  • Experience leading data migration activities
  • Experience facilitating requirements sessions, Kaizen events, value stream mapping
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience managing projects in the following areas
    • Digital Twin and Digital Thread processes and technologies
    • PLM Applications such as Teamcenter, Envoia
    • CAD Applications such as NX, Catia
    • Collaboration tools
    • SAP / ERP Interfaces to PLM Tools
    • Business Warehouse / Data Analytics Tools
