Position Purpose/Objective:

This individual will provide support for Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts and coaching for Site Leadership/employees in their pursuit of Collins CORE progression. This individual will help the business develop improvements to strategy, policy deployment, standard work and best practices through the use of recognized CI tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understands business needs and identifies opportunities for improvement through the use of CORE and continuous improvement tools in order to achieve and exceed business targets and performance.
  • Work with prioritized functional areas to assess current CORE status, recommend improvements using the ACE tools, and progress the ACE maturity of the processes.
  • Leads/co-leads/facilitates or participates in Continuous Improvement events identifies metrics for improvement and follows the events through the implementation phase.
  • Drive site-wide implementation and utilization of the CORE Portal system as well as a link to the shop floor management system.
  • Champions change and continuous improvement and facilitate the development and implementation of CORE strategies supporting aggressive business goals.
  • Continually identifies improvement opportunities and provides creative and thoughtful input to improve processes, methods, and products.
  • Recognized as an expert in the latest CORE tools and applies hands-on education, training, and application of CORE principles and tools to increase proficiencies across the site as well as enhance the CORE culture.
  • Adhere to all Collins rules and codes of conduct.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 5years of prior relevant experience OR
•Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3years experience OR
•In absence of a degree, 9years of relevant experience is required

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $68,000- $140,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
