The Manager, Aftermarket Operations Excellence sets objectives, establishes processes, drives execution and delivers Lean/Continuous Improvement results through implementing and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. The Manager is responsible for Customer Performance improvement initiatives to improve the customer experience and satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct operational health assessments to identify gaps in the use of the operating system and work with sites to address gaps with actions. Support sites by assisting with the closure of the actions taken.

• Identify top customer performance risks across the network and work in collaboration with customer facing teams to drive improved performance including recovery planning and executive leadership reviews.

• Work collaboratively with repair sites to improve performance and to close improvement event results in line with expected outcomes.

• Manage implementation and maturity of common processes across all repair sites within the network.

• Develop benchmarking process to identify best practices across the organization, as well as external organizations.

• Drive the Collins digital EcoSystem implementation across network and provide support and hands on training where applicable.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR

• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience OR

• In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required

• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in operations leadership within maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes

• Experience in ACE, Lean, Six Sigma, World Class Manufacturing or Continuous Process Improvement and experience teaching and modeling them.

• Experience leading Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, process Flow Mapping, culture change

• Demonstrated experience using advanced analytical and presentation skills to drive transformational change.
