The Sr. Manager, Project Management position is a Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process subject matter expert for Avionics.  This position will provide both tactical and strategic support to Avionics and will define/maintain KPIs, drive actions to address gaps and identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the overall SIOP process.  This position will work closely with Avionics SIOP leadership, Operations, Central SIOP.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and monitor a wide variety of KPIs and drive corrective action as needed

• Drive improved effectiveness of SIOP processes through sharing of best practices and implementation of standard processes and tools across Avionics
• Ensure all sites maintain compliance to the Corporate Policies and Procedures
• Lead large-scale, cross-functional projects to support Avionics SIOP
• Represent Avionics SIOP at Collins Aerospace level process mapping, tool implementation and policy/procedure events/discussions
• Develop partnerships with Operations, Avionics SIOP and SIOP focals across Collins Aerospace

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR Advance degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diverse SIOP experience – sales/demand planning, master scheduling and/or Operations
• APICS CPIM certification
• Proficiency in SAP, Kinaxis and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse team
• Demonstrated ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while implementing continuous improvement initiatives
