Key Responsibilities: 

• A Technical Investigator is responsible for planning and conducting Service Investigation activities on engines, modules and parts involved in accidents or incidents affecting both the Safety and the Reliability/Performance of P&WC engines in operation.
• Determine the root cause of the events by means of internal coordination role with other disciplines (Material and Chemical Laboratories, Chief Engineering Office, Engineering Programs, Customer Support, Quality Department and Maintenance & Repair Organization).
• As a Service Investigator, you will play a focal contact point role with the international investigative authorities (TSB, NTSB, BEA…) as well as key role in the service difficulties reports forums (SDR) with the certification authorities (TCCA, FAA, EASA…).
• Service Investigation also supports the company legal department.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good technical knowledge of Pratt & Whitney engines and capacity of combining and understanding technical information of different disciplines
• Excellent oral and written communication in English. Fluency in French, an asset
• Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and team spirit and good interpersonal skills
• Perseverance and scientific/technical curiosity and ability to propose new and creative solutions
• Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities
• Project management skills
• Occasional travel will be needed
