Job Description:
Raytheon is looking for an experienced Network Engineer with an active Top-Secret clearance to work as part of a collaborative team to support classified networks in the DC Metro area in Dulles, Roslyn, and Hanover. Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:- Configure, Manage, and Upgrade existing Cisco Network hardware and software, such as Cisco switches, routers, ASAs, and Next Generation Firepower
- Ensure Information Assurance compliance for Network hardware and software and mitigating identified IA vulnerabilities. Remediate IAVAM and DISA STIGS
- Ensure compliance with security and performance requirements (NISPOM, RMF, DISA STIGs, NIST, etc.)
The ideal candidate must be a US citizen holding a Top-Secret clearance. He is organized, able to work well with others, able to work under time constrains, able to multi-task and prioritize work, be able to work independently as well as a member of a team and have good problem-solving skills. The candidate’s work will be performed under general direction. The candidate will frequently interact with inter-organizational contacts representing the Digital Technology Program Execution organization in the support of Raytheon Intelligence & Space engineering end-user community
Required Skills:- Must have a strong background in LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, and other network hardware.
- Experience with Type-1 HAIPE Encryptors, VPN technologies and protocols IPSEC, GRE, L2TP, DMVPN, etc.
- Demonstrates Firewall, Access Control List knowledge, and IP address management
- Familiar with DISA STIGs implementation
- Cisco Call Manager and Cisco CME
- Ability to create accurate Visio network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Security+ certification, Cisco CCNA certification.
- U.S. Citizen with Active DoD Top Secret clearance
Desired Skills:- Experience with Radius authentication software-based configuration and 802.1X implementation
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and threat mitigation technologies
- Experience with ACAS, SCAP, CMRS, NESSUS
- Experience with NISPOM/STIG or PCI security
- Experience with SolarWinds and SNMP-based network management
- Experience with installation and support manufacturing systems/applications
- CCNP highly desired
Minimum Education Required:- Typically, Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience or 13 years’ experience in lieu of Degree
