Job Summary:

The RF Products Department is seeking talented engineers with the skills and passion to work on complex projects that shape antenna, radome, and antenna measurement system technology within the Company. The selected candidate will be contributing to diverse teams and executing tasks in various antenna and radome design life cycles. This is an entry-level Electrical Engineer position for an individual with educational experience and/or professional interest in the application of technical antenna principles, concepts, and techniques.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Development of antenna or radome hardware and requirements.
  • Working with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc.
  • Working with antenna manufacturing suppliers.
  • Antenna modeling and simulation execution on workstations and high performance computing resources (HPC)
  • Analyzing simulation or measurement test data to verify performance to requirements.

This position can be a Junior, Senior or Post Graduate based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
  • ST01 (Freshman Technical Intern)- must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
  • ST02 (Sophomore Technical Intern)- must have completed 30 credit hours by start of internship
  • ST03 (Junior Technical Intern)- must have completed 60 credit hours of college by start of internship
  • ST04 (Senior Technical Intern)- must have completed 90 credit hours of college by start of internship
  • ST05 (Post-Graduate Technical Intern)- must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Must be a Junior, Senior or Post-Graduate by the start of Summer 2022 in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) degree.
  • Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and/or GRASP

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Qualifications We Value:
  • Solid background and practical understanding of designing GPS antenna systems (to include experience or relevant course work).
  • Model generation and simulation experience with conformal antennas (to include experience or relevant course work).
  • Proficiency with Python, MATAB and/or other high level scientific programming languages
  • Proficiency with high performance computing (HPC) environments and schedulers such as SLURM
  • ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
