Purpose

This position supervises entry and intermediate professional level employees in the Installation, Testing, Repair and Maintenance of sophisticated equipment. This role supervises execution of field engineering operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, and progress of work orders. Diagnoses problems and maintains site readiness..

Responsibility Statements:

Supervise execution of operations related to building maintenance, machinery and equipment maintenance, and

installation of new machinery and equipment for production set-up.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, make adjustments, and maintain production equipment, machinery, or instruments

to ensure functional reliability.

Research time lost due to equipment malfunctions and provide recommendations for improvement regarding procedures,

systems, equipment, and / or technology.

Supervise the progress of work orders and ensure timely completion.

Applies specialized knowledge and skills in chiller design, maintenance and repair. Responsible for implementing inspection and maintenance

processes to ensure optimal performance condition of sophisticated equipment.  Manage a team that will repair, adjust, and maintain

production equipment, machinery, or instruments to ensure that it functions reliably and complies with process specifications.

Respond to emergencies, break-downs, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruptions to customers manufacturing

processes. Set, calibrate, or adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments so that it complies with production specifications or instructions. Maintain site tools and repair equipment in good working order.  Hire and train technicians on the proper disciplines needed to meet the customer demands.

Plans, designs and executes activities that are directly related to the receipt, final assembly, testing and installation  of products and the functional operation of facilities used to support local customers.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
