Job Purpose: FRDA seeks an experienced and highly capable Human Intelligence Desk Officer interested in supporting the INSCOM in Fort Belvoir, VA.

Essential Functions:

Conduct technical oversight, coordination, deconfliction and synchronization of full spectrum Army HUMINT activities in assigned area of responsibility.
Provide subject matter expertise on Army HUMINT policy, doctrine, strategy and equities regarding Army Modernization Strategy and collection priorities.
Ensure operational compliance with applicable laws, policies and regulations.
Identify and recognize information which impacts Army HUMINT equities and ensure interests are protested.
Provide functional HUMINT support to policy formulation, resource management, source validation and operational risk assessments.
Present oral, visual and written presentation to senior-level government and military leadership. Compose documents briefings, white papers and support other staff actions based on approved recommendations.
All other duties as assigned.
Some travel may be required both CONUS and OCONUS.
Required Skills/Experience:

A minimum of 6 years’ experience as a HUMINT collector.
Understanding of full spectrum HUMINT activities.
Strong Understanding of Army and DoD HUMINT policy.
Graduate any of the following courses:
Army – 35M
Army – 351M
Army – 35F00
HT-JCOE – Source Operations Course
USMC – 0211/0210/0204 Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Course
TS/SCI Security Clearance – must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a CI polygraph examination.
*College education cannot be used in lieu of experience.


Completion of HT—JCOE DoD Strategic Briefing Course, HT – JCOE Defense Advanced Tradecraft Course or other OTC course.
Must possess strong oral and written communication and negotiating skills, presenting and advocating for analytic methodologies.
Must demonstrate the ability to write in a clear, concise manner, targeted at senior leader communication.
Must possess familiarity with various Intelligence Community software and systems
Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to work in a high-operational tempo environment.
Must be able to work both independently or as a member of a team.
